Looking to add a personal touch to a hallway or room in your property? Consider adding runners. Available in both standard sizes and as made-to-measure products, they’re a way to inject some life into a room via eye-catching patterns or blocks of colour which enhance surrounding features and the floors themselves. They’re also a great way to “soften up” wood or LVT floors, which can prove a Godsend for bare feet in the cold winter months, when a little luxury goes a long way.

Our collection of runners – available at all BR Flooring branches – are made from materials including wool, sisal and jute, and have different functional properties; some are hardwearing and can help protect floors from wear and tear, while others are more soft and sumptuous, and ideal for areas with less foot traffic.

We also have a range of stair runners, which can improve the safety of staircases while adding under-foot comfort. Other benefits of adding stair runners to your property include noise reduction, as they soak up the sound of slippers and shoes noisily meeting wooden stairs – a pet peeve for many of us! But many of our clients simply wish to jazz up plain or boring staircases, adding an attractive, patterned feature that complements other aspects of an interior design scheme.
